AI workshops for teams. Put AI to work

Your team works on real tasks, redesigns workflows and tests ideas. Leave with tangible results and clear next steps.

Start with your team’s question

Your question sets the starting point.

Some teams first need a shared understanding. Others have a clear problem and want to redesign a workflow or test an idea. We shape the people, exercises and technical depth around that task.

“We want to get started.”

Build shared foundations with clear examples and a first hands-on exercise. No coding experience required.

“There are too many possibilities.”

Gather real tasks, assess their value and feasibility, then agree on a reasoned next priority.

“This process takes too much time.”

Map the workflow step by step and decide where AI can help, where people need to review and what needs to change.

“We want to test something new.”

Turn a product, service or process idea into a prototype, experiment or focused technical test.

“We need to change how we work together.”

Use a concrete change question to explore how leadership, responsibility and learning loops interact, then agree what the team needs to clarify next.

Choose the right starting point

Three ways to work with AI and innovation

Each format can stand on its own; combine sessions when your goal calls for it. We tailor the question, group size, exercises and technical depth, from a short introduction to a full day of collaborative work.

01 · Understand and try

AI workshops for teams

A clear introduction with exercises drawn from everyday work. Participants try suitable tasks themselves and learn to assess the results critically.

  • • For teams without shared AI experience
  • • 30–60 minute introduction or half-day practical workshop
  • • Takeaway: a tested task idea and clear questions for further learning
From exercise to everyday work →
02 · Redesign the work

Build workflows and agents

Take a real process apart and redesign it with AI, automation or agents, with clear handoffs and checks.

  • • For 5–15 people working on a specific process
  • • Half or full day, depending on the scope
  • • Brings together subject experts and relevant technical roles
  • • Takeaway: a tested workflow, prototype or implementation step

03 · Test an opportunity

AI innovation and hackathons

Turn an open challenge into prioritized ideas, customer experiments, concepts or prototypes, with a clear path to a decision.

  • • For product, strategy and innovation teams
  • • One day or a multi-day sprint, shaped around the question
  • • From a mini hackathon to a hands-on technical build
  • • Takeaway: a tested approach and a reasoned next decision

What teams take away

An outcome that still makes sense the next working day.

For a workshop to carry into everyday work, we make the practical output and next step clear from the start: What did we test? What remains open? Who decides whether to continue?

Depending on the goal, the result might be a prioritized use-case list, a tested workflow, an experiment plan, a prototype or a technical component. We agree on the depth and handover in advance.

From workshop to everyday work
  1. 1
Name a taskFor example, triage incoming service requests.
  2. 2
Work through the real processWhat information does a response need? Which cases are exceptions?
  3. 3
Review and refineThe team checks response quality, missing information and where human review is needed.
  4. 4
Agree on the next stepOne possible output is a draft triage flow with review checks and an owner. The team then decides whether to develop it into a technical prototype.
People and collaboration

Innovation also depends on how people work together.

New tools alone change little. Teams need room to ask questions, test assumptions and turn results into decisions. Our workshops pair hands-on work with a look at the routines and leadership choices that make change possible.

Startup thinking inside a company

Use customer focus, small experiments and clear decisions to examine a real challenge in your organization and agree what to explore next.

Leadership and learning culture

Look at how decisions, responsibility and learning work today around a concrete change. The team leaves with a shared question or routine to examine next.

Venture clienting

Explore how to work with young technology providers and turn an introduction into a useful test.

A shared language for AI

Discuss technical possibilities and human responsibility in a way that works across business, leadership and delivery teams.

Led by practitioners

Experience from startups and established businesses.

Our work draws on experience from hundreds of workshops. Practitioners in product, technology, entrepreneurship and organizational change design and facilitate the sessions, turning a trend into a practical question for your team.

On request, we can add conversations with founders and a closer look at the startup ecosystem. Pair the workshop with a guided Startup Safari or an Innovation Dinner for a shared day.

“The workshop was highly practical and tailored to our needs. The SAFARI team’s expertise and strong connections in startup ecosystems led to fascinating, engaging discussions.”

How we work

Tailored to your work, not off-the-shelf slides.

Before

We clarify the goal, team, experience, work examples and available tools. For technical work, we also discuss access, data, interfaces and decision-making scope.

During

Experienced practitioners combine short inputs, collaborative work and hands-on exercises. The group works in its own context and makes assumptions visible.

At the end

You receive the agreed output and a clear recommendation for what comes next, from independent testing to deeper implementation.

Afterwards

We agree in advance whether further testing, technical delivery or support embedding the work in everyday routines is part of the engagement.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know before we start.

How long does an AI workshop take?

An introductory session usually takes 30 to 60 minutes. Working through a specific process often takes half a day or a full day. Multiple use cases, experiments or a build sprint need more time. The existing workshop format is designed for teams of around 5 to 15 people.

Can I book one of the three formats on its own?

Yes. An introduction, workflow session or innovation format can stand alone. We shape the brief so the group leaves with a clear output and next step. A series or a Startup Safari can be added if useful.

Do participants need AI or coding experience?

No coding experience is needed for an introduction or workflow exercises. Technical build formats are tailored to the group’s skills and include the relevant engineering and data roles.

Which tools and data do we use?

We agree in advance which tools are approved. Participants can work through their own tasks using safe examples. We use company data or system access only when the environment and use have been agreed.

What will the company take away?

Depending on the brief: a tested workflow example, prioritized use cases, an experiment plan, a prototype or an agreed implementation plan. We decide in advance what the finished outcome should be.

Can you support technical implementation too?

Yes. When the brief calls for it, the work can continue from a workshop and prototype through technical implementation and handover. We agree on scope and prerequisites together.

Can we combine a workshop with a Startup Safari?

Yes. A guided tour or dinner can add founder perspectives and time for discussion. The workshop remains tailored to your question and group.
